My practice is built around helping people navigate life's toughest moments, using evidence-based practices infused with an eclectic and holistic framework. My two heart-centered specialties are Trauma/PTSD and Grief/Loss. I’m a certified Grief Counselor from David Kessler’s program, and I use a strong, gentle, trauma-informed foundation in every single session. My counseling style is fundamentally nurturing and client-centered. This means our work is entirely focused on your growth. We’ll work together, tailoring our approach by using a rich combination of powerful, evidence-based methods: EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a powerful tool we can use to help your mind process old, disturbing memories, reducing the emotional hold that past trauma has on your present life; Trauma-Focused Modalities, which are integrated throughout our sessions to ensure your healing process is safe, structured, and effective; and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) & Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), which offer practical skills for regulating difficult emotions and managing distressing thoughts, especially helpful for Anxiety, Depression, and Bipolar Disorder. We'll tailor your dialogue and treatment plan completely to your unique needs, equipping you with practical tools for lasting change while providing a truly safe space for deep healing.
