Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)
Fast, effective relief from trauma and distressing memories.
What Is ART?
Accelerated Resolution Therapy is a brief, evidence-informed treatment designed to help people process traumatic or distressing memories quickly — often in just a handful of sessions. ART uses guided eye movements, similar to EMDR, combined with a unique technique of voluntary image replacement that helps the brain "reset" how a difficult memory is stored, reducing its emotional charge without requiring you to talk through every painful detail.

How It Works
During an ART session, your therapist guides you through sets of eye movements while you bring a difficult memory to mind. The process helps desensitize the emotional intensity of the memory and allows your brain to voluntarily replace distressing images with more adaptive ones. You don't need to verbally describe the trauma in detail for the therapy to work, which many clients find more comfortable than traditional trauma talk therapy.

One of ART's biggest advantages is speed — many clients notice meaningful relief in as few as one to five sessions. Sessions are active and structured, guided closely by your therapist throughout.
