"I strive to help the client understand their feelings better. I feel the greatest gift a therapist can give a client is to help build self-awareness. When we understand what we are feeling, it is easier to understand and achieve our goals."

I am sensitive and empathetic and value the professional relationship I can build with clients. By listening to the client tell me about their lives, I strive to help the client understand their feelings better. I feel the greatest gift a therapist can give a client is to help build self-awareness. When we understand what we are feeling, it is easier to understand and achieve our goals.
I’m not here to tell you what to do; I’m here to listen to you and try to understand your world. By asking questions, I hope to help you think about things in different ways and find your own answers. I am person-centered and use elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to help my clients understand their feelings.
I strive to help the client feel comfortable during our sessions, as I know it is hard going to a complete stranger and opening up about things that are difficult to talk about. The client is the captain of the ship, and can take time opening up during sessions with me.
