"I view therapy as a partnership where the therapist and client work together... Empathy, authenticity, and active listening skills are the bread and butter of my therapy sessions. My goal is for all of my clients to feel seen, heard, cared for, and empowered to live their best, most fulfilling lives possible."

About

My ideal client is someone that is open minded and motivated to begin the healing journey with me. I view therapy as a partnership where the therapist and client work together, according to the client's wants and needs.  I am motivated to push my clients towards fulfilling their highest potential, focusing on strengths based perspectives, and empowering themselves to achieve optimal mind, body, and spiritual wellness.

As a therapist, I do not prescribe to one modality of treatment. I use an eclectic approach first fostering a supportive, warm relationship with my clients and then using cognitive behavioral, mindfulness, a variety of other psychodynamic evidence based practices to help my clients overcome debilitating mental health symptoms. Together we will work towards learning and developing a wellness toolbox of coping skills for healing and to improve daily functioning. I am also trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and enjoy teaching my clients mindfulness, meditation, emotional self regulation skills, and how to strengthen self advocacy and interpersonal effectiveness skills.

Empathy, authenticity, and active listening skills are the bread and butter of my therapy sessions. My goal is for all of my clients to feel seen, heard, cared for, and empowered to live their best, most fulfilling lives possible.
